Sew Mama Sew Giveaway

Hello, Welcome to my corner of blog land:) This is the third time I have participated in Sew Mamas Sew’s giveaway- and always really enjoy it:)

Handsfree asymetrical bag

Why give this bag away?  This bag symbolises how I feel about blogging, opportunities to learn, promote recycling fabrics to create new items, and community:)

It is made from fabric remnants and a former skirt (washed!). I love sewing, and blogging – creating and sharing creations made from old clothes. This makes it affordable too! (as well as doing my bit re the environment, reducing items going to landfill).

I blog once to twice a week, sharing my latest creations, and often tutorials (see 35+ tutorials here).

Serger Pepper

The bag is the hands free asymetrical bag from Serger Pepper (you can buy the pattern here, or one of her other great patterns)

Pockets galore

The bag is full of pockets, slip pockets and zip pockets – great for carrying books, toddler drinks, tablet – plenty of room but not over big. The shoulder strap measure 39″, and the bag 8″by 11″.

Thanks for taking the time to visit me today, enter below to have a chance of winning (open worldwide)

  1. What I like best about blogging is the sense that you know that person in real life. Most blogs are so personable that I feel that I know that person.

  5. I don’t blog as much as read blogs anymore, but I love the encouragement and camaraderie, I live in a rural area and my online life makes me feel connected to the crafting community. I just want to say also, that I think what you are doing is GREAT! New fabric is nice, but I just stopped getting new fabric when thinking about how much fabric is already in the world, just waiting to repurposed into something amazing! Just visit my local ReStore for proof! Thanks!

  7. I just LOVE this bag! The fabrics work so well together! I love the learning from other bloggers and the ability to share my own work with people who are actually interested in it rather than my hubby –whom is very supportive–but not really “into” it like I am! Merry Christmas!

  11. Blogging has let me meet lots of amazing people I never would have otherwise met – people with the same hobbies and interests as me, who inspire me, motivate me to create, and are a heck of a lot of fun to talk to for hours about things no one else finds remotely interesting! 😉
