Rustic Christmas decoration with items from the garden

Today is challenge 7 of the #12DaysofChristmasDIYChallenges

The challenge – Take a walk around your garden or the park and find something you can make Christmas decor from.

Today I have updated our stick tree, regular readers may remember it from previous blog posts.

The tree was made last Christmas with branches from the garden, simply strung on one long length of wire. The plan to paint the edges of pine cones and hang them as baubles.

I used silver acrylic paint, as that’s what I had:)

I wrapped some invisible thread round to create hoops for hanging, simple yet effective DIY rustic Christmas decoration:)
