It super quick to make with a stylish result:)
This is the first time I have used a stretch knit for the top, and cotton for the flared skirt. It is fractionally large for my daughter, but this is deliberate. She chose short sleeves as we head for winter – it WILL fit next summer!!!
I am delighted to bring you this wonderful pattern parcel – five patterns from independent designers raising money for childrens education. Plus the sizes go from 18 months – 16 years, a great age span:)
If you love dress making for your daughter/grandchild/niece you can buy the patterns here.

What a great idea for group patterns, and there are some really nice ones there (I particularly like the blue spotty top). However, it takes so long for me to make myself any clothes that I think my daughter would have grown out of anything I started making for her.

Your dress is very pretty. The pattern parcels are a great idea. It's nice to have totally different items rather than variations of the same thing #handmademonday
