Pink Peony Pattern – Free Bag Pattern

I have to admit this has to be my favourite free bag pattern.

Charmed Liebling Pink Peony Bag

The Pink Peony Bag is quick to make, taking approximately an hour including cutting out. It’s perfect for beginners, as a beautiful bag which is simple to make. As always with Charmed Liebling the pattern is easy to follow.

I have already made four. It doesn’t take too much fabric, I have some pieces of fabric from former skirts ready for more!!

I think they make ideal girls presents, just shorten the shoulder strap, and omit the wrist strap.

Perfect for a Barbie purse:)

I do enjoy pattern testing, thanks Anna. Now where is the postman with my parcel of fusible fleece?

  1. Hi Vicky. I haven’t seen your blog before. I am new to sewing and starting a course in my local adult education centre in two weeks! I love that top bag, it is very pretty. I have bookmarked this blog and will be having a right nose at your posts 🙂

  2. Oh wow, fantastic patern it looks really lovely, I’d never expect it to take an hour in total. Now I just need to dust off the sewing machine!

  3. These are lovely. I especially like the fabric on the top image. I really need to get my sewing machine out that I’ve inherited from my mum. Must learn to use it as have seen lots of items I want to try making

  4. I like the pink version! I’d use one myself! They would add a touch of color to a grey or a black outfit. Beautiful!
On an other note, I just published a post about an Infinity Scarf I have made and included a link to your own post. 🙂

  5. Yet another brilliant creation. I’d love to make one of these for my little girl, think it would take me more than an hour though 😉 Thanks for linking up to #ThriftyThursday
