Every comment brings a smile to my face, thank you:)
As the blog grows I gain opportunities – some of the highlights for me are joining blog hops, taking part in blogging competitions, pattern testing (increasing my sewing skills) and writing guest blog posts for others.
Personally I enjoyed particularly enjoyed the challenge of joining in zero waste week. Signing up at the last minute with little thought in advance the week was thought provoking and led to a blog post every day… and I continue to compost all vegetable peelings:)
The beginning of the year found a feature in Reloved Magazine – of course I would love to gain media coverage in some of the crafting magazines – who knows what 2015 holds?

As we turn the year I am thinking about the future blogging year, I have some plans afoot.. and some personal goals. Firstly I would love to improve the images I share. Secondly I am going to learn to use my overlocker.
It is easy to fall into the trap of comparing oneself to high profile bloggers, resulting in a desire to have the perfect blog, whatever that is! This week two posts particularly resonate with me. The first is by the fabulous photographer blogger mammasaurus, there is room for all in the blogging world.
If you look, you will find people just like you to share your corner of the community with, whatever you choose to write about. End of.
The second is that its OK to fail by the great upcycler Agy.
let’s approach our making journeys differently – it’s okay to fail – and we’ll definitely come out better!
I highly recommend taking the time to read both blog posts. Here’s to whatever direction I am led in in 2015, failing as I go.
Happy New Year and all the year ahead holds for you.

Great round up. Photography's on my list for next year too.
I've enjoyed reading your posts, and once I've got the hang of my mum's sewing machine that I've now got, I'm sure I'll be back to check out all the posts I pinned.
